The Waterfront Barrow-in-Furness is one of the largest waterfront developments on England’s west coast. More than £200 million of investment and 1,500 new jobs will come floating into an area of dockland situated in the town centre.

The Waterfront Barrow-in-Furness Masterplan is a jigsaw of residential, industrial and leisure developments that will slot together to transform the face of Barrow and raise its profile nationally and internationally as a great place to live, learn, work and visit.

Not only will it bring a massive economic boost to the area, but it will also help foster a renewed sense of pride among residents by reuniting the town centre with its docklands, once Barrow’s beating heart.

This complements the ongoing plans to improve the town centre and the facilities it has to offer both residents and visitors, under the Barrow Regeneration Action Plan.
