Rosie Mathsien Rosie Mathsien - Nuclear Opportunities Director

Rosie Mathisen heads up the Nuclear Opportunities Team as Director and set up the team in 2003. She has worked extensively in economic development in West Cumbria for nearly 20 years and has an MBA from Durham University Business School.

Rosie leads activity to maximise opportunities arising from changes in the nuclear industry and, indeed, to influence those changes. She plays a key role in co-ordinating activity with the public and private sector through her chairing of the Nuclear Opportunities Group.

She is a member of the Delivery Group for the Energy Coast programme, particularly focusing on business and enterprise project, as well as providing a co-ordinating role on Skills and Research and Development projects.

She works on a strategic level with top levels of management at the NDA, Sellafield Limited, Sellafield Parent Body aspirants, the nuclear supply chain as well as the public sector.

In her spare time, Rosie is a keen sailor, yacht owner and gardener.
