Dock Road - Workington

The Dock Road area of Workington is not only a significant employment site but is also a key gateway to the town.

The area comprises of employment land at the Port of Workington; Old Side and Dock Road itself – which combined comes to more than 17 hectares of prime employment land,

Plans are afoot to establish the whole area as a quality location for business that will help to support the significant development taking place at the Port of Workington.

At Old Side and Docks Road there is potential to create high quality office and industrial units. At the Port of Workington there is the opportunity for ‘land hungry’ industries that would benefit from having the port on its doorstep.
