Pow Beck Valley - Whitehaven

The Pow Beck Valley holds great potential to become a specialist employment site at the heart of Whitehaven.

Around 8,000 sqm of high quality employment space will be created alongside sporting, leisure and residential developments.

Provisions will also be made for future business space to meet the expected demand that Pow Beck and the continued regeneration of West Cumbria is expected to bring.

The overall vision for Pow Beck is to create a sustainable mixed community in Whitehaven that is a place to live, work, relax and visit – a goal that is at the centre of all of West Lakes Renaissance regeneration work in Furness and West Cumbria.

The development is being led by West Lakes Renaissance under the Whitehaven Regeneration programme.
